AWARE Community is a Not-for-profit Incorporated company with full insurance Public Liability, Volunteers and members.

AWARE Community was started to address a gap in assistance and advocacy for isolated or marginalised community members.  Those assisted to date include new arrivals to Australia, senior citizens, sole parents and Aboriginal people. Service agencies referrals include court assistance and the police matters; Centrelink, FACS, Department of Housing; referrals for EAPA (Energy Accounts and Payment Assistance) to help pay electricity and gas bills;  financial counselling, fine payment assist, technology education and environmental sustainability. AWARE Community empowers people  to be aware of their rights and obligations  in dealing with government service agencies, legal issues and assists with digital education and communication..
